Behind The Name & History
Regarding the name of the website pretty much has a unique origin. At the beginning before the collective site was given a start, I wanted a name that was unique and not as ordinary as most other collective site titles can be. Believe it or not, I spent nearly an entire month searching through different names where I complied nearly three pages full of possible names for my collective site. After my name hunt was completed, or so, I thought, I went over the list of possible names for my website. Sadly, none of them struck a cord with me.
It was around the next few days that I lied down on my comfortable bed, and listened to my music. That precise moment, although I can't recall what song it was, I was silently singing to the song where I suddenly mispronounced a word. Asulan, somehow it came from my mouth. I didn't think about it that much until the next day, the same word bothered me until I realized I liked how it sounded and how it was written. The name Asulan was given to my collective site and I am proud to have founded the name. Strange way to get a name, isn't it? Perhaps not, perhaps it is.
